New job for me
Well, after some time of uncertainty, waiting, and struggling with myself as to where I fit in workplace wise, I actually found a job that I’m comfortable with, am trained in, and where I can continually meet new people. Tuesday I’ll be starting at HyVee as the Asst. Manager of General Merchandise. In case you might be wondering, general merchandise is all things not food. I’m pretty excited about this job. Excellent benefits, decent pay, what seems to be a great atmosphere, and it’s only 15 minutes away. Yea!!
After leaving the grocery business in 2001 as a meat manager to attend college full-time and be an associate pastor in Tenn. I never thought I would go back. I just knew I would be a pastor of a church somewhere. Almost 7 years later it’s funny to see how things work out. I now have no desire to pastor a church, but am passionately in love with church planting and organic church. I love the fact that in the organic church you can do just about anything for work and still lead a house church. It’s just another way to show people that anyone can do it.
