Deep Thoughts By Some Dude…
I was studying in a bible study guide called “Life Answers” and I came across this quote by some dude who used some verses in 2 Timothy 1:3-7.
“God needs people to demonstrate a strong, enduring lifestyle of faith, even if that faith has been reduced to glowing coals hidden beneath the ashes of long-past victories. By blowing aside the ashes of laziness or cowardice, God’s love will burst into an open flame in our lives. Jesus said, “Let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven” (Matt. 5:16).”
Don’t you long to see that in your life many times? So often do I sit and ask God why He is not doing anything awesome in my life just to realize that I’ve been sitting under a big, huge pile of ashes that consist of laziness, cowardice, or even busy-ness. With that short thought, take a moment and blow aside anything that is hindering your life today and allow the Lord’s love to burst through you that others may see Him for who He is. Remember the times of sincere faith that Paul reminds young Timothy about (2 Tim. 1:5) and make that a focus of your life.
